It has been a little over 50 years since the painful loss of one of America’s foremost pioneers, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Room 306 in Memphis” is presented to the nation to help all Americans honor the memory of Dr. King. And it reminds us of the incredible prophetic “mountain top” speech, in which Dr. King exhorted America on the eve of his fatal shooting. This song seeks to capture the immense sense of pain and dismay that the African American community experienced at that time.
